Yes, this product is safe for the skin of the face. All our products go through rigorous quality control testing and have been through testing in clinical studies.

We do not recommend storing any of your products where they will be exposed to temperatures less than 10°c or greater than 35°c for extended periods of time.

Our products are produced in small, in-house batches and are made with ingredients that are shelf stable for up to 12 months if stored correctly. This should include keeping them out of extreme heat and cold.

Always apply DAILY as the first step after cleansing, on wet or dry skin, and allow to absorb before applying an other products.
( plated )™ skin care products are designed to potently target multiple factors which contribute to the look of aging skin. This means that you may be able to say goodbye to several of your existing products, such as Vitamin C, products that contain growth factors, and retinoids. Before making any changes, always consult with your dermatologist or skin care provider.

While results can vary based on skin type and reason for use, most participants in clinical trials saw a positive impact after using their products for just 6 weeks.

Much like consistent retinol use, ( plated )™ products have also been shown to boost collagen and elastin production. Our INTENSE Serum also contains a powerful antioxidant blend. As such, this product can replace both Vitamin C and retinol products. However, if you still prefer to use a nightly retinol, we recommend applying it after our ( plated )™ product has been applied and allowed to dry for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Vitamin C works best in the morning, again applied 5 to 10 minutes after INTENSE, or after INTENSE has fully dried, signifying absorption.

( plated )™ products are absorbed into the skin through cells of the epidermis and through hair follicles. The molecular structure of the extracellular vesicle/exosome is under 500kd, which allows for easy penetration through the skin.

Our formulas do not contain many of today’s most harmful and questionable ingredients. At this time, however, there is not enough clinical data to support claims of safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we always recommend that you consult with your physician before using ( plated )™ Skin Science products. The carrier gel used within INTENSE and DAILY contains a naturally occurring substance called hyaluronic acid. This molecule, which is naturally found in the body, works to increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

( plated )™ is a cosmetic topical product line. At this time, it has not been approved by the FDA for use in micro-needling procedures.

At this time, our products are available for purchase in the US and in most of Canada (Quebec being the exception). Purchase products from fine aesthetics practices in any of these participating areas.
