Rion Aesthetics’ novel technology validated in clinical study: Now proven to address signs of skin aging on the face and neck

We are thrilled to be able to deliver transformative results consumers can benefit from today
— Alisa Lask, MBA, CEO of RION AESTHETICS

Rochester, MN – (BUSINESS WIRE) – RION AESTHETICS, a leading regenerative aesthetics company, has announced its clinical results from a recent cosmetic study utilizing platelet-derived exosome technology to treat aging skin. This study was conducted at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and principal investigator Saranya Wyles, MD, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Dermatology, Mayo Clinic, recently published the findings in the June 2022 edition of the peer-reviewed Aesthetic Surgery Journal.  Sponsored by RION AESTHETICS, the Platelets On Skin Health (POSH) study evaluated ( plated )™ SkinScience Repair Serum and its effects on skin rejuvenation at 6 weeks.

The study demonstrated that ( plated )™ achieved statistically significant results across a multitude of skin-damage indicators as early as 6 weeks—including improvements in the appearance of redness, brown spots, wrinkles, color evenness, and overall luminosity. This validates RION AESTHETICS’ belief that its proprietary exosome technology is the future of skin care.

“In the context of aesthetics, exosome technology is revolutionizing skincare innovation by providing consumers with a naturally derived ingredient effective in targeting hallmarks of skin aging,” said Yael Halaas, MD, FACS. “We are not simply covering up problems; we are addressing them with game-changing science based on 15 years of visionary research and testing by internationally recognized regenerative physician-scientists,” said Dr. Halaas.

“We are thrilled to be able to deliver transformative results consumers can benefit from today,” stated Alisa Lask, MBA, CEO of RION AESTHETICS.  Lask continued, “our study supports a whole new approach to skin health with the versatility of one product to help restore damaged skin and protect against persistent age-related skin challenges.”

Given these unique clinical outcomes, it was not surprising that users in the trial self-reported a positive response in skin texture, wrinkle reduction, redness, satisfaction, and overall cosmetic improvement. In fact, 98% of the 55 participants in the study said they would continue using ( plated )™. “We can’t stop aging, but ( plated )™  does allow us to finally change how old we feel when we look in the mirror.  In short, you will look younger, longer,” said Lask.
